In 2025, our journey led us to a artisanal workshop in Yucatán, Mexico — a place where time slows and craftsmanship still thrives. OUR FOUNDERS

Araiá Paradis was founded by Mia Fakhry and Amira Hussain, whose shared vision was shaped by lives spent between cultures and continents. Both graduates of the University of the Arts London, they grew up moving across cities and countries — always exploring, always finding a sense of home wherever they went.
Mia, of Lebanese and Chinese heritage raised in Hong Kong, and Amira, of Cypriot and Pakistani heritage raised in London, saw a new kind of culture emerging — one defined by curiosity, creativity, and connection. A community of young, international individuals who celebrate diversity and art as a way of life.
What began as a personal project has since evolved into a distinctive brand rooted in originality, thoughtful design, and a spirit of exploration. Araiá Paradis was created for those who live between destinations and carry their world with them.

Shipping

Where do you ship to? 
We currently ship to select countries. If your location isn’t listed and you’d like to make a purchase, we’re happy to try and accommodate your request. Please email us at customerservice@araiaparadis.com and our customer service team will assist you.

What is the status of my order? 
Every order will have tracking details and will be sent to your inbox to track and view the status of your order.
Processing time: 1-3 Business Days. Once your order is processed, you will receive an email with tracking details directing you to the courier's tracking page.
How much does it cost to ship? 
Free shipping in the UK. Evri Delivery (2-4 Business Days)
International shipping will be calculated using Royal Mail and will fluctuate depending on your purchase. Your shipping fee will be seen at checkout. 
Below is an estimate depending on your region. 
EU: Free shipping on orders over £550. Orders under the minimum spend will have an estimated shipping rate of £6.50 Royal Mail Delivery (4-7 Business Days)
International Orders: Standard shipping rates apply. Shipping costs are estimated between £8.50–£18.00 depending on order size, value, and destination. Royal Mail Delivery (5-9 Business Days)

Will I have to pay for customs and duties? 
Customs & Duties will vary depending on the region your order is being shipped to and your local tax authorities; therefore, additional duties and taxes may occur. We are not responsible for the additional shipping charges incurred upon delivery. Unpaid duties/taxes by customers may fail to deliver. We will not be accepting returns/refunds from unpaid duties.
We recommend checking with your local postal service for the potential import duties & taxes for fashion in your delivery location before placing an order.  
At customs, taxes/duties are usually calculated based on the total value of the order placed and the shipping fees; therefore, depending on your country’s tax rate, the fees may sometimes reach over £100. Our international courier Royal Mail will contact you via the email/phone number you provided with the appropriate way to pay these fees, once these fees are paid your package will be released from customs. As stated above, Araiá Paradis is unable to cover the additional fees incurred during customs.
Furthermore, during clearance checks in your country, Customs may require you to provide additional identification such as National ID and Passport numbers to clear the package. Therefore, it is important to provide an accurate email/phone number in the checkout so customs can contact you if required.
What if my order never arrives?
Please contact us at customerservice@araiaparadis.com and we will try our best to handle the dispute with the shipment handler. 

Returns & Refunds

What is your returns policy? 
Full refund within 30 days of arrival, by emailing us at customerservice@araiaparadis.com and requesting the return. For items to be fully eligible for the refund, the clothing must still have the tags attached, be undamaged and unworn, and be returned in the original packaging. All suede goods must be unused, undamaged, and returned in the dust bag.
Free UK returns. We do not offer free international returns. If you choose to place a return order as an international customer:
Create the return label yourself with the courier of your choosing and ship it to our return address (which will be provided once you request a return).
In your return request if you are unsure of the courier service to use return the parcel to the UK, let us know and we can try and help find a suitable courier service in your country and provide price estimates.

Items that have been worn, damaged, or returned after 30 days will not be refunded.

Items that are considered to be faulty must be returned for the refund to be put in place.
Have you received my return?

Where will you refund my order? 
If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
When will I get my refund? 
Once the order has been received and approved, you will be refunded within 10 business days to your original payment method. If more than 15 business days have passed since the refund approval, please contact us.
How do I arrange a return?

Order Issues

Can I cancel/amend my order after it has been placed? 
Within the first hour of placing your order, you can cancel or amend it. If this is not possible, as we understand that an order may need to be amended after that time, we will do our best to accommodate this. To do this please email customerservice@araiaparadis.com (Please note that our team work Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm GMT, your request will be picked up within this time)
If your order has already been processed then we will no longer be able to amend or cancel the order.
I’ve received the wrong item or size what should I do? 
Contact us at customerservice@araiaparadis.com and we will send you the correct size straight away.
I haven't received my tracking/order confirmation email.

The garment I have received looks different from online.
All garments you see online are what you will be receiving, although every garment is hand cut and individually sewn, so there may be the slightest variations. In terms of colours displayed, this obscured vision can sometimes vary due to viewing the garments on different devices.
The suede items I have received looks different from online.
Each item is made from 100% suede that has been hand-dyed and crafted in Yucatán, Mexico. From beginning to end, every piece of suede carries a story that is authentically its own.
Because each hide is dyed and finished by hand, a perfect colour match to the images cannot be guaranteed. Subtle variations in tone and texture are part of its natural charm. On occasion, a light crease or faint mark may appear — a gentle trace of the cow’s life and a reflection of the material’s natural origin.
These unique details are a testament to the artisanal process and the individuality of every bag, ensuring that no two Araiá Paradis pieces are ever the same.
