OUR FITZROVIA POP-UP

In 2023, Araiá Paradis hosted its first pop-up on Charlotte Street, Fitzrovia — a milestone that brought our world to life through design, storytelling, and community.

In November of 2023, almost a year after launching Araiá Paradis, we finally stepped into something we had only dreamed about — our very first pop-up shop. We were just two fresh university graduates with a shared vision and a whole lot of nerves and excitement, preparing to introduce our debut collection, Joie De Vivre, to the world.
Finding the right location felt impossible at first. Every place we viewed felt off, too big, too lifeless, too impractical, or simply not “us.” We wanted a space that we could shape into a reflection of our story: something intimate, warm, and full of heart. Then, one evening after work, we checked the listings one last time, and to our surprise, a new space appeared. It was exactly what we had been searching for: cozy and inviting, tucked away in the heart of Fitzrovia. We were thrilled. We immediately called and booked a viewing for the next day, and by the end of the tour, we had secured the spot.
The following weeks were a whirlwind of gathering décor, reaching out to suppliers, and making final preparations. It was chaotic, but it paid off. Despite the stress and sleepless nights, there was a spark of excitement that kept us going, knowing that soon we would finally have a space of our own.

When we finally opened the doors, it was everything we’d hoped for. A warm, elegant, curated little world that felt full of joy and intention. For three weeks, we spent every day in that space. We made coffee and brewed our signature winter tea for curious visitors and friendly faces. We watched strangers walk in, fall in love with our designs, and connect with our story. We welcomed family and old friends who cheered us on. We made mistakes, laughed through the awkward moments, and learned as we went.
That pop-up wasn’t just a shop, it was a milestone. It showed us that the wild dream we started with was becoming something real.
Fitzrovia will always hold a special place in our journey. It was the first time we saw our vision out in the world, the first time we felt the impact of sharing something we loved with others. Even now, years later, the memory of that cozy storefront reminds us how far we’ve come, and yet how much we’re still the same: two girls with a shared passion, learning, growing, and creating for the sheer joy of it. The love, curiosity, and boldness that inspired us in those early days still guide us today – and always will.
